The Season That Wasn't

Well, here we are in June, aka the 6th level of Jumanji. And it is official, my 2020 competing is pretty much over for the year. A lot of events had already been cancelled or rescheduled for later in the year, but the last one I was still hoping/planning on attending has been cancelled. A lot of the events that were rescheduled are falling on dates that already have something or are on dates that because of work or other obligations, it's just not very likely that I will make them.
So now what? Well, I am most definitely a "everything happens for a reason" kind of person. I have been focusing on my strength and cardio and my flexibility. I have done some crazy training things I normally might not have, like doing The Murph without any prep, lol. My lats were sore for a week from all of those pull ups. I have achieved several arm balance poses in yoga I have previously never been able to do. I also am going to be working on creating a video library for my karate students and I am already in the process of getting my NASM personal trainer certification.
Sometimes life creates space for us, enjoy it.
Bonus: I already have a killer tan and it is only just the beginning of summer.
